Q. how did you come to write Lost Words?

A. My mother was asking for a cheese knife and when I handed one to her, she said that's not what she wanted. I flicked through a nearby Ikea catalogue and found a picture of a cheese knife. After showing it to her, she in turn found a photo of a can opener and said that was what she wanted. I started to put together the first version of 'Lost Words' that very night.
